It’s still blows my mind people are willing to part such money for these old tractors different strokes for different folks I guess
Some farmers have sold properties / barns/ ground with or without planning permission for hundreds of thousands or millions and many are not interested in Porsche or Ferrari car’s but would rather a tractor from a certain time in their life that can be taken on a road run or vintage rally or burning some fuel helping a mate do some harvesting or working ground or maybe a ploughing match but it’s what they actually want 😉.
And very often these tractors become their social events with like minded people.

folks are buying these for investment. Some have little to no interest in tractors.
....i stick by the old adage, that the more something costs / commands the more certain people in walks of life want it

Mostly better tractors than the modern rubbish available today, and no emissions crap. AND a lot less money. Easy to repair as well.
This might be true but then why not get something like around 2004/5 mostly pre egr and certainly pre add blue huge difference is you could get cab suspension front suspension a nice quiet cab and much more comfortable and left hand forward reverser etc. If were talking 20k you would easy find something here.

i think there is truth in this, good luck to all the sellers though!
