Get your name in print. Nobody on here knows who you are and only that you are from "South Wales". Quite a few on here seem to use a business name as a screen name. Get your local newspaper and radio to do a profile (but you'll need to write most of it for them!).

Evening chaps, I'm in need of picking your brains.

I'm tired. Like, ridiculously tired. And I find the only way to get round it is to work and push myself, or I stop and I sieze up and flag and am useless for days.

I need some ideas of things to do.

Remap work is great, and immensely satisfying. However I'm getting a lot of flack from some people. And business is difficult enough without competition sabotage.

I'm a decent welder, engineer and can turn my hand to most things.

Set up a half decent workshop, but I'm just... Bumbling. I need ideas.

So, hit me with them. Got all the Remap and diag gear, welders (mig, tig, arc, brazing) tools etc, electrical bits and pieces.

Give me a message, all ideas wanted [emoji23]
Sabotage that's bit extreme?

Buy a load of scrap or cheap steel rod or box and make a pile of cheap sheep hurdles. Sell them with a min order for 5. Move onto gates and owt else you can think of............

They will need to be sent to the galvanisers when made but.....

Design then...
....Set up a production line of angle or otherwise shaped steel fence posts with possibly unique wire attachment facilty ......

The market is there for a good one, to rival those sent all the way from Australia, or wherever they come from.

you can charge up to about 6 quid each.

That's always been the aim @40 series I've always tried to do things as straight forward and honest as possible.

I suppose it's just a bit of a duff spot. Had a few bad days/weeks, and just need something different to perk me up a bit. Got a few things lined up for this week, and am putting the finishing touches to the workshop so it's good to go, and am taking my darling daughter to London next weekend for a museum day [emoji23]

Obviously there’s a back story to this but many of us have no idea what it is. Could you elaborate a bit?

Don't be daft [emoji23][emoji23] farmers in general deserve a medal.

Had a chill day today, but got a few loaders to do this week. Are there any adaptions to telehandlers or loaders that you guys would find relevant? You are my new RnD department [emoji23]

I find a reversing camera in a telehandler saves a lot of neck ache . A wireless kit with a 5 inch screen can be bought for under £30 off ebay . Mag mount the camera with 2 round ferrite magnetic mounts powered through 7 pin plug helps easy fitting , adjustment or even transfer to another machine . I have a couple of kits I swap around between tractors to see hook or implement , behind trailers and even a bale chaser.

Hi Alternativedairy
First time on a forum, hope I’m not interrupting a thread, first can I say well done on getting up and out every day,I’ve been following a few of your threads and am impressed how you got into the mapping so quick.
Do you mind if I ask a few questions as I’m debating doing the same myself across the pond here.
Not sure to PM or what regarding a few questions regarding kit bought
