Restore 5+ Inforgraphics for Twitter 1200x6753 Small.jpgRestore 5+ is a new mycotoxin binder for use in 2021 dairy rations, available exclusively through Wynnstay.
It is the first of its kind in the UK market, it offers complete mycotoxin binding and immune support, with 5 scientifically proven modes of action.
It’s widely known that mycotoxins can cause oxidative stress to the liver and other organs, which in turn results in a number of physical complications. This includes reduced feed intake, impaired rumen function, drop in milk yield, loose dung, swollen hocks and foot problems, as well as long-term fertility issues and abortion.
What we have with Restore 5 Plus, is a binder which protects and supports the cow against mycotoxin damage, as well as restoring liver and gut health to combat oxidative stress. Coupled with improving the cows natural defences, it also offers a direct defence against mycotoxins which may be present in the feed, by binding, adsorbing and transforming toxins.
This is critical, as certain mycotoxins which cannot be irreversibly bound, are transformed/degraded by the activity of yeast extracts, then bound and excreted. With winter rations including straw or maize silage, which we have seen a high level of mycotoxin load in this year due to the challenging weather stressing the crops.
This time of year, we do see more issues related to mycotoxins, and with increasing research into understanding the sources and long-term impact on cow health and performance, it’s vital to ensure you protect your herd.

Restore 5 Plus’s five proven modes of action
  1. Prevents oxidative stress,
  2. Supports liver function,
  3. Stimulates an immune response
  4. Triggers bio-transformation of key mycotoxins
  5. Adsorbs and binds remaining mycotoxins
