I have one for sale off a 4m Maschio. Hydraulic lift. Can get pics if you are still interested. Good condition. It fits on the power Harrow and acts like a three point linkage, has two arms that raise and lower etc and top link attachment. Made by Maschio. Colour black, paint and ram good. £250 plus VAT, collected mid lincs.
All complete except for two of the attachment pins I think. PM for further details.

@DrWazzock sorted me out perfectly. Even came with drawbar to tow roller ready fabricated. Now to work out how to attach elec seeder to frame and we’re looking at one pass operation for summer grass seed establishment post whole crop. Could include front ripper tines 🤔
Thanks for all the replies

@Horn&corn FWIW we attached our air seeder to the front of our tractor. I was a bit concerned about pushing the grass seed too deep with the tractor wheels but as long as it’s firm going it doesn’t seem to be a significant problem in practice. Helps spread the weight and you can see what the seeder is doing without turning your head. We went 3m hence the linkage for our 4m power Harrow became surplus to requirements. We’ve no tractor big enough to ever run a 4m combi either.
I’m not entirely convinced the seeder is best on the front but it does a job and the power Harrow can cover the seed to whatever degree you like really. It also takes out the wheelings. What I have found though is that any bit of turf or big clod stick in front of the clod board leaves a bald line in the grass seed as it effectively parts the sown seed. Would maybe be better with clodboard removed for this job.

I’ve got a small bullock seeder on a grass Harrow. Currently cultivate, Pharrow, roll, seed, roll.
plan to cult then one pass seeder. Drop seed between Harrow and packer or just infront of towed flat roll. Hopefully cut out a couple of passes with rolls and potential moisture loss etc. Challenge is it’ll have to be me doing seeding rather than steering wheel attendant on Pharrow

That’s the thought process we’ve going through.
We plough, or min till, then power Harrow towing a Cambridge roll. then one pass with a seeder on front of tractor with power Harrow and towed roller on the back. It’s slightly better than plough, power Harrow, zig zag Harrow and roll, seeder, zig zag Harrow and roll, though it undoubtedly did a Rolls Royce job.
In general though I find that power harrowing in grass seed works well until you get a stone or turf stuck in the clod board with makes a bald row. I agree about flat roll for finish. Cambridge roll leaves ridges which simply dry out, but prior to seeding Cambridge roll is good as it leaves grooves for grass seed to fall in and reduces sowing tractor wheeling depth. Much depends on soil type and moisture though so foolhardy to recommend a particular approach to others.

Many thanks. Ideal set up and sorted. Now to mount seeder and get 3m rolls. Surprisingly heavy attachment frame but too awkward to put on and off regularly 🤔
