Liquid Fert Nozzles

Going on to liquid fert and had more or less decided to go down the hardi quintastream or hypro esi nozzle. I then thought about if the six rear nozzles hit the frame/mudguards with the patteren.? Do they make a circular pattern or flat like a standard nozzle.? Is this a common problem.? Its a 09 build Househam AR 3000. Ive also been offered a set of omex bars to try for a season FOC but ive heard they can dribble all over when folding booms which doesnt sound good.

Used the agroco nozzles and found them terrible - as did some friends, they’d scorch with water in let alone anything nitrogen based. We then all went to Hypro ESI and no one had an issue with scorching after that.

I've had scorch in osr, but only on the dewaxed leaves.
Not had trouble in wheat, but I only use liquid AS, early.
Then it's all solid urea

Hardi quintastream has the same pattern as standard nozzles. I’ve used them for many years. I haven’t tried any other fertilizer nozzles, so i can’t say how they compare.

We use Agroco's for ammonium sulphate and have very little scorch. Far less than we had with dribble bars. I think the key is to select the right one to keep the pressures down. Not just the pressure going into the nozzle, but select the nozzle with the right sized outlet holes so the the pressure coming out of the nozzle is low so the fert does not atomize.
Another plus for the agrocos is that they are not height sensitive.
