probably more like 6-7K to be honestthat's very harsh I would add a £1,000 to that, sadly the 110's have never had the second hand value they deserve

£7-8k"Value is that price agreed between a willing seller and a willing buyer" and not applicable in your case as you clearly have no appreciation of a good vehicle and I wouldn't sell it to you!
everything is what some one will pay, there are any number of plates out there on offer for totally unrealistic prices in the hope that Fazid Ali Ahmed will win the lottery one day.View attachment 1179034
You may but, would you be pee'd off , if I purchased the Land Rover for 4K then sold the reg for View attachment 1179035
of course if it is S or T it could be a 50th. anniversary Defender in which case add 50% +£7-8k
I have a defender values have come down front the silly highs.
How about 10 million for F1everything is what some one will pay, there are any number of plates out there on offer for totally unrealistic prices in the hope that Fazid Ali Ahmed will win the lottery one day.
I did see a plate go in open auction for 50K one day, cannot remember it but it was nothing special , but it obviously matched his initials or some such
What did the beauty in the middle make?
While I have all you Defender savvy valuers at hand.....
110 Td5 2005 130,000 miles, County, 3 door, clean condition, never off road, standard everything with 4 bench seats in rear. Probably a van originally with side windows fitted. Not for sale, but curious. Uses no oil and very very rarely driven over 60mph. Always passes MOT first time with no advisories.
What's it worth? Thank you!

110’s are by far the better traveller. If you need to go on a mini adventure ‘oliday your gear fits inside. Plus being longer it rides better. 60mph comfy cruise against the 90’s 55mph.£7k-£8k most likely in 'average' condition.
Never understood why the 110s were less desired.. after running 90's my current is a 110 and I wouldn't go back to a 90 (well, I doubt I'll ever have another - but the 110 isn't going anywhere )
I sold the 90 for more space in the 110. Only grumble is the lousy turning circle.£7k-£8k most likely in 'average' condition.

The second hand L rover market is heavily subsidised by the townies market. parking a Challenger is easier than parking a Defender 110 in Chelsea£7k-£8k most likely in 'average' condition.

I have never had an issue towing with a 90 because the hitch is so close to the axle line. It's like a pick up hitch compared to a long drawbar. Maybe the thing to do is attack a 110 with the grinder and take a bit off the backendNow ..
But that has nothing to do with the 110 being less desirable over the vehicles 33 production years.
It has nothing to do with farmers almost always buying 90's when the 110 was the better, more stable, towing vehicle
