oh dear thats a really backwards step, schaffer started out years ago with websters wheel loaders as the importer then when to cyil johnston, then they did the right thing and opened a UK schaffer office so dealers dealt direct with schaffer. Going back to an importer seems a very backwards move.

Pallisers of Hereford usually have a few 2nd hand Merlos ,best to ring 01432890300 as sometime the website is not up to date.

Spent 2 days up travelling around NI , learned a lot ,we came to the decision we are looking for 2 Merlos now across the water for cleaner machines .Thanks everyone for the links,time to make a few calls.

How come you would choose the merlo over the schaffer

Better reach,higher load capacity, lower for smaller sheds.Schaffer probably better on silage pit,but that's only 2 days per year.

Yeh,I learned that,looked at a few and between lights flashing,dash not working and oil leaks ,it's a pity as they look like good machines if you look past that
