Not me, but nearby dairy farms were at it a week or 2 ago. I see some new ley mown down nearby too.
Think I’ll need to cut a field that was for grazing as it’ll be too far ahead by the time it gets grazed

So we are possibly moving to Orkney , any advice welcome
Just seen the post. You going to be farming?
Good luck, if its now you are moving getting used to almost continuous light can be a bit disorientating. Despite what many will try to say mid winter is not as proportionality dark as farther south, considering our summer light hours.
Wind can take a little bit of getting used to. Not the gales, but most days always a breeze,

Weather is something to get used to. Certainly not as hot in summer as Suffolk, but probably not as much winter frost. I am south side of the firth, been all my life, but through work been pretty much through most of the country north of Midlands.
Lots of people have moved to the north and settled, been a two way move for centauries. When you moving.
Wishing you the very best. Maybe see you sometime.
