My John Deere .com

I m not sure on the 1800 screen I know it's pretty basic but if it has a USB slot you should download JD file transfer app to your computer you can upload and download from myoperations. If its job data etc. Make sure you set up a setup file within my operations and go to files tick the setup file and you will have a option to download to your USB stick. I have no experience of the 1800 screen only 2630 and 4600 screens. You are right it takes a bit to get your head around it! Its overcomplicated for what it is! Crop planner is a handy feature I have everything for each year on it! Hope it helps a bit!

Not very easy to navigate as a first time user. And it won’t usb upload my field data .from my 1800 screen grrrrrrrrrr
You need to have documentation on the 1800 screen to upload and download! I can t do this on the 4600 screen as I don t have full premium that could be why you can t transfer

If I go all out for a newer screen like the 2600 - 2630 would It be able to do vr seeding through this screen to a Rds drill ? And Amazone sprayer corvarage maps to log data ect would then all be recorded on my John Deere .com

Yes you can! You need a shape file. If you use the likes of SOYL they will send you the shape file screen will detect prescriptions on the stick and away you go! You will also need the cable that goes between your RDS screen and the greenstar to make them "talk" to each other and you should be all fine! As long as the RDS does variable rate?

You can pick up 2630s second hand now alot about seeing as most newer r series deeres have GS4 built in! I would advise on the 2630 as opposed to 2600. 2630 is gen4 compatible!

Yes Rds vr but had to use a sd card before. Done though Agrii. Don’t know who they used. But was useless for me as I could remember how to do it yr on yr. hope it’s Eayser now . Amazone has it own amatron 3 at the mo

Ah yes! Had to use it on a sp card years ago on a patchwork black box talking to a amatron 2 I think it was?? You should have no problem. Same cable will go through the amatron screen to 2630. USB will be a better option easier and quicker. You can save and even make up your own prescriptions on myoperations have only ever used a blank prescription as a test though?

If your going to go all out on a new screen get the 4630 which is gs4, also if you want to right your own vr files you can use the agriAn app in operations centre (it’s free) you can import yield maps of soil zones into agriAn if you like or just draw zones into it. I don’t use it personal (I use Rhiza-UK (now Rhiza)).

Which ever screen you go for you’ll need the activation to do vr or section control, I use a 2630 and a 4600 with premium activation to do vr seed.

You mean 4640? Yes I would agree! If you want to spend that kind of money! Plenty of 2630s about with doc premium already unlocked. Agrarian is ok? Think it's pretty difficult to do proper VR maps from scratch on it? Any screen from 2630 and above will be compatible with anything for the next few years at least!
