NFU quite happily gave me a reasonable quote when my current company balked at adding the little one onto the current policy. That was in 2004.Nfu wouldn't even give me a quote

Is it gold plated .....or have you been a bit naughty behind the wheel ?I’ve been paying a fortune for car insurance since I was 17, just one pickup is £1800 a year
My son thought it was a badge of honour, my daughter doesn’t!
Problem with putting kids in cars like the KA is when the invertible cash happens it’s your kids that are in the KA not the Volvo it collides withI found the Ford KA was the cheapest to insure so kids were told that's what they get and I will pay the first years insurance. If they didn't want the KA then I would still give them the same value in money but they would have to make up the difference . ......none went for the KA ! ...
I used it more as a marker peg as to how much I would help them. As said none chose a KA and I don't blame them but it did make them value the cost of insurance by realising that to get a decent motor they would have to do something for themselves as well.....I don't believe in giving it to them all on a plate. Luckily most of them seemed to end up in the ditch or hedge rather than inbedded into the bull bar on a big 4 WD . The lad parked his car on the roof but no-one else involved so no 'claims' which helped. ........they all earning far more than me and driving better cars than me now !!!!Problem with putting kids in cars like the KA is when the invertible cash happens it’s your kids that are in the KA not the Volvo it collides with
Have you lots of claims? as sounds expensive.I’ve been paying a fortune for car insurance since I was 17, just one pickup is £1800 a year
Have a chat to Direct Line to see what they can offer. When my sister started driving with an old Polo, the NFU were extortionate! She did also have a 'Black Box' fitted which helped knock off some money I can't recall how much though
Unfortunately notDoes that mean an unexpected visit from Harvey Kietel?
We average a claim a year, varying from crashing into my own stuff in the yard to some knob that decides to crash into me but pretend it’s not his fault, then insurance back down and go 50/50Is it gold plated .....or have you been a bit naughty behind the wheel ?
