im sure it would be fine for a one driver tractor once they've mastered the technicalities of the gearbox but simple and no nonsense it's not, I am left wondering if there could possibly be different versions of dyna4, is there a simple no nonsense version and one full of electro bollox?
I would hazard a guess that the Dyna 4 in the 5400 series is a simpler box to that of your 5613. I think anti stall has been added which senses the load and will put you in the right gear. I can jump a range in any gear with my old D4 the newer ones overule you. I drove a local chaps 7614 D4 for a few days and it's a completely different bus compared to my older 5455 D4. The newer bugger beeped at me all day and second guessed my shifts. If I wanted to make a quick get away it tried, refused, beeped and set off again in a lower gear. Then somehow I changed the settings by accident and had to get the book out i hated it, as much as the overuling and beeping is annoying i guess computer trickery has been added to stop wear and tear.
