If you have an operator short of points how are you supposed to get any right now ? have the relaxed the scheme?

I know you can get a couple TFF etc but there are certainly no courses et or show to get any at right now?

TFF points aren't worth much now , you're only allowed 2 points a year from publications , therefore if you subscribe to potash news and tff you only get 2 points in total

I emailed #cityandGuilds #Nroso back in March to ask this also to NO avail yet.
Ideal time to do online cpd point acquiring courses would'nt you agree?
Also asked #VirtualCollege if their thinking about this and other Agri related cpd point courses and their thinking about it also?
Exellent time to do it?
The more contact them the better?

Another strand to farm assurance that has simply become a money making machine.

This whole situation has got completely out of hand, and now is our opportunity to kick the whole thing into touch.

Getting sprayers tested to check they are safe to use is one thing, but insisting an experienced operator has to constantly gather points attending shows and meetings is a complete waste of everybody’s time.

I refuse point blank to pay to gather points.

I did weaken once and went to a pay to earn 10 point course.

To be honest I prob learnt far more from the other farmers I was sat with round a table than I did from the 12 yer old stood at the front.

So never went to another.

Most years I gather them up via sprayer test, bit of online stuff Agronom meetings and an occasional trials evening lookaround courtesy of Frontier

Not your or the operators fault so as far as I can see RT will just have to accept things for what they are.

I once had a sprayer over due a test even though it was mid winter and snow on the ground. RT was getting stroppy with me over it so I said fine I will test is as long as RT pays for machine damage due to frozen lines. They backed down over that one.

This situation were in currently is similar so can’t see how they. Can enforce things.

They've made it quite difficult to do that now
