not the best start today only need 3 tractors totalling 900 Hp to get it out

Sorry I thought you had a 2600. I still have a couple of acres to get with my 2600 but it was sinking terribly last time 3 weeks ago. I think it’s too wet still.
does the t2 perform better than the kv? I imagine it does but I was still content with kv considering what it owes me!

I did run a 1996 KV UN2600 for 05&6 seasons - in fact I still have a donor harvester if you need any bits.

The KV was replaced by a Pearson Enterprise with stars and dahlmans, then a Standen Enterprise with double evolution, then an ex demo T2 in 2012.

The KV was great, but the T2 is in a different league.

That’s good too know, parts availability has always worried me. Ideally I would like too swap it for something better. Grimme 1700’s seem very wide for my farm track. A t2 with picking table would be a hell of a step up but probably not justified for 15 acres!

Finished yesterday. It’s been a tough harvest on men and machinery. It took nearly 3 days to lift the last 11 acres. Disappointing service from Grimme didn’t help. On the other hand the boys were brilliant and put in some big shifts in very challenging conditions

Just on holiday at Woburn centre parcs, has a nice morning watching a self propelled Grimme and a couple of fastracs struggling to dig a field, a big JD RX was towing off. Anyone on here? I thought we had it bad in Lancashire but boy they was having it tough.

And some Lancs growers lifting today, sample looked decent although the estimate was 25-30% of yield lost due to the time spent in the field. I see European futures just tailing off a little since before Christmas, mild conditions meaning a little more is being salvaged than what was expected?
