Have a Pronar 3m disc mower
cannot get it to make a half decent job in laid grass.
All new blades, and on the correct way round.
It`s almost as if they could do with being 1/2 inch longer
Tried tilting further forward

Any one else got one of these?

I think everyone is in the same boat this year at least. Most crops I've seen that weren't mowed very young have had quite a bit of grass led with a scruffy stubble resulting. Just the growing conditions of the year around here. My father would have me scalp the field to get under it, but I would prefer to leave a few inches but where it is led that few inches often ends up 12 inches.

A six spline could be either but a 21 is only 1000 I would think. Cousin bought a new Lely once and was in 540 aswell as the dealer sending it out with the knives back to front. He had to top the fields after to tidy up
