Remapping and Diagnostics

Hi guys, just thought I'd do a bit of shameless plugging, if anyone wants any remap work done, or diagnostic stuff, spent some money on the relevant kit to keep myself occupied [emoji23] done 19 so far, with all spot on outcomes, ranging from power maps to tweaking, and AdBlue Deletes, DPF and egr Deletes too.

If anyone wants anything, I'm in South Wales, but will happily pootle about.

I often get asked do I know anybody in various parts of the country who can do x y or z. It's mostly 4x4 stuff but I'll pass your details on if they're in your neck of the woods. (y)

Right by me! Handy to know.

Are you using kess or ktag out of interest ?
Neither, using the fancy gear from Dimsport, the new genius and trasdata. Everything custom written, and after today just done another 2 tractors for AdBlue Delete and stage 1. Borrowed a dyno and performance is up nicely, and one of the chaps Valtra I did a while ago is saving 8litres/hr diesel so couldn't be more chuffed

I fancy remapping my 2.2 ford ranger but not sure I have the confidence to let someone doing tractors to "have a go" just in case :nailbiting::nailbiting:
Well, it comes with a 12 month warranty supplied through a 3rd party, and I've done a fair bit of training and continue to do training as and when it comes up. Invested heavily in the correct gear, and as you are a tff'er you can give it a whirl for a couple of weeks to see if it's upto standard

Well I might well be tempted then.
Send me a price to consider and since we're different ends of the country, I'll be coming down to winter fair in November. If that made transport easier.

Will be interesting to see were this goes, there is company that did a lot of trucks is in court for making them illegal for use on the road , rules are rules break them and get a big fine or jail ,would not put my phone number on an add doing this kind of work as the powers above are coming down on this very hard now

@Speedstar like with everything, there are rules that cripple this industry. I had a very lengthy chat with vosa about this and apparently half of the Ag vehicles they test fall outside of emissions regulations as standard. I got asked to remove the AdBlue on a tractor a guy used for regularly running animals to the mart. I refused under the basis that as it should be run on white for this job (under my rudimentary knowledge) anything that would impede its emissions further would obviously get him into a lot of trouble.
On Ag vehicles used for the purpose of working on a farm, or a jaunt down the road, I let them decide if its something they wish to pursue.
Having spoken to some dealers, who openly alter "problem vehicles" I don't see any real problem.
I've done everything properly to the best of my knowledge- taken out insurances, the ability to offer a warranty, and continue to research where we stand for this sort of thing.

All tractors are legally only supposed to do 25mph on the road, yet most now are made to do 50k plus and do so regularly.

If I can make someone's life easier by getting rid of issues, it's something to do that keeps me out of trouble [emoji23][emoji23]

Some sort of disclaimer on the invoice such as another remapper puts on theirs along the line of,, ( the alteration to this engine might make it illegal for highway use). should relive you of any come back.
