That 'de luxe' cab was the best there was about at the time. It was just a pity the back window didn't open for forage harvester spout controls etc. (yes all you young 'uns out there, we had to lean out the back and wind handles and the like:facepalm:)
Was it just the bottom section that opened ?
Did that just give you access to the linkage ?
Not that I’m a youngster, but grew up on the MF165’s with the rolled up plastic window.

Yes the bottom bit hinged up, or you could take it off, you could trip a ransomes reversible plough with it open. The "shelf" had a a opening to wind the leveling box.

Yaaay... little job for you today then!.. Perfection is everything!

The first one I drove was "L" reg and had double foot steps covered with checker plate, I think it may have been one of the first sold to have this extra fitted? The doors also had thick soundproofing on them which was also cheapened down to a stick on board later on.
