RHI System Heat Meters .

We have changed our meter and are now amending the accreditation but this question has me flummoxed, what should I put or not put?

When the I in RHI always stood for incentive, you'd think they already knew it'd not make sense to buy this plant without subsidy?

It’s not the users fault they cocked up the rules in NI.

the idea of the scheme was to reduce fossil fuel use and kick start the industry.

I’d say it worked. Trouble is now they are forcing people out by changing the rules.
An early "red flag" to me was that although we had to have a good EPC on our house to receive a decent feed in tariff for a few solar panels there was nothing whatsoever in the RHI scheme to address the energy efficiency of the actual buildings being heated - frankly you couldn't make it up how badly thought out the scheme was.

True, the scheme wasn’t about energy efficiency, but replacing direct fossil fuel use, which I would say it’s done.

I agree though, the nature of the scheme almost goes against energy efficiency!

I was on about the Scheme in general not specific NI shambles.
If your self Sufficiency and paid to fulfil the Scheme rules as best you can then all well and fair.
But o no they got to cover their farms with panels, wind turbines and burn maximum around the clock to milk it all.
No wonder all these schemes fold eventually and detrimental to genuine users

All these scams are designed to run their course though,

You are talking about the FIT as well high from what I have seen has been less scandalous than the RHI?

I don't think people would be heating their tractor sheds 24/7 with kerosene!

Do the rules allow this though? As a % of all rhi paid out I bet tractor sheds is a small part of it
