Round straw grab

Thanks for the replies everyone, few more brands to look at. Hoping a grab will speed up unloading trailers as i think with a twin spike there is too much time wasted tipping them off on there ends and stabbing them again to put into stack.

For tipping bales over onto their sides on trailers, and especially getting the 2nd layer back off again, look out for the brackets not being parallel to the bales. If you have to crowd back to get them vertical it gives a better chance of catching the far bale at height. The MX above has this. We added a link into our old grays where it pins together - big reduction in missed/torn/bust bales.

We’ve got the big MX. Use it for unloading lorry loads of rounds on our Matbro
We offload 3 rounds at a time. You can fly offloading 70 bales off a lorry.
We usually keep the lower spikes off it as you can pick up 4 stringers as well without the spikes but need to put them on to handle 6 stringers.

We’ve an mx one at work without the bottom tines it’s well built and grips much netter than the old grays ones I’ve used before.

height shouldn’t be an issue if you always stack in twos?

for example if I have a column of three or five always out a single down first and then doubles and you can stack right up to the roof.
