No, no, absolutely no!
If you have a big row of straw and it's a catchy time, the only way to dry it out is to spread it with a tedder. In good conditions it will dry in 2 hours, row up and bale.
I speak from experience, one year I rowed over the same row 5 times and never got enough sun to dry it. Spread it on a sunny after noon and had it baled in 2 hours.
Only any good if a bit damp and you are going to get a dry spell.
