Hi do any one have experience with redrock 3,500 galon tandum wheels on 710 tyres just wondering how well they travel on damp ground and sloping ground compared with single axle

Twin axle will be far more stable on steep ground. I borrow my next door neighbours twin axle for my steeper fields. It will slide before it rolls. Definitely wouldn't want a 3500 gallon on a single axle

3500 on 710 tandem will travel very well but when the tough going gives way to very step and very wet going the big rotation tyre of a single axle will beat it.

Will be limited to 3000 on a single axle or thereabouts.

You won’t have as much grip with the tandem as the extra axle takes some of the weight off the tractor. But obviously on the road this has a massive advantage. Tandem won’t travel as well in the wet either but ideally you shouldn’t be in the field when its too wet anyway. Other than that tandem is far superior. Big volume, single axle tankers don’t like being dragged flat out up & down the road. It puts massive stresses on them.

That’s quite something. Not unlike the Major Challenger.
The challenger had a very expensive axle set up that you lifted the front axle with hydraulics, there were a couple of Primex tankers local with an air lift axle, they were a far tidier set up and cheaper to build.
I used to hire a challenger,I never really rated it.

Looked a brute of a thing to be fair.
