Sounds reasonable , not sure about Solax inverters, never heard of them. Do not forget you will still need wiring, scaffolding and the services of an electrician. You also need the permission of your DNO but that should not be an issue

you should still seek permission to install if it is grid tied. the issue being is the loading on a single phase. in any given area. If too many are installed it can overload that phase causing over voltage ( above 253 volts ) which causes all the trips to go.
We saw an issue when someone installed 30 Kw on a building affecting people down the line. It had got permission , no idea how . think someone from the DNO assumed it was a 3 phase supply.

Cant be done or has to be all mcs certified does it??
I think the DNO would insist it is MCS , but I suspect not too many would be conmcerned. May be an issue for insurance or if you want to sell the house. I do not believe the MCS accreditation means a lot though. I am certain there has been a fair amount of DIY set ups feed back in to the system by a reverse 3 pin plug :woot:
