Sosr poor germination

Anyone had issues?
I know limited growers but I’ve put in some performer for a customer, in perfect conditions followed by two separate rains so really shouldn’t be a issue .
But dreadful establishment at the moment probably only 5-10%?
The brassicas next door I drilled same day with no alterations to drill are flying away so I can rule out drill .
I thought other things would be the problem not getting it started .
It’s performer variety

I wonder how old the seed is, it couldn't of had a better start by the sounds of it. Will have a word with my neighbour who I know has drilled some sosr.

ours been in a fortnight sown into dry with rain forecast next couple of days that never arrived until this weekend. Yesterday seeds could be found just starting to move when squesed , its a job for good eyes finding them at the low hybrid seed rates , this weekends moisture now soaked in around and below so will be checking daily for bugs and once in rows on with the N. Years since we last grew or rather tried growing it

Not my call , can’t think of anything previous that works be doing this ? I’ll go and look myself , no seed left but bought in from supplier I’ll check bags to see if it says the date.
I knew we’d have a challenge but thought it would be the flea beetle , was interested to see if the newer varieties had moved on any .

It's a shame there's no seed left for testing. That's where I'd be looking if you're happy the drilling was ok & nothing has eaten it in the field.
