Sowing white clover

The last few years we have reseeded grass land, but didn’t put clover in the mix as we knew it would need sprayed, what’s the best way to sow it now when we take the silage off?

Is it worth mixing in fed for sheep! Or spreading with a fert drill? No fertiliser will be spread after silage, just fym

It doesn’t work feeding it to sheep ime, ever. The only place it grows is where they spill it out of feed troughs/mineral buckets, which is where it’s been ‘broadcast’.
The best results I’ve had are from spreading it, either with fert or with a slug pelleter, straight after silaging and (most importantly) before a wet week.

You can spend more on seeding methods, but your results will still depend on soil contact and moisture, so you might as well save the money to spend on extra clover seed.

Depends how fast the grass grows back
But two passes with Tine Harrow then role ,
Clover does overseed better than grass , but grass growing back could spoil the job , don't put any fertiliser on , leave sheep on it for a week after sewing will help also
Aslo check what spray you used an when , the residuals in some sprays can last for 12 month and stop clover germination, for instance Hurler states 12 Months for Legumes

If its a relatively new ley and it's been mown I would be surprised if you can't get soil contact with two aggressive passes with a Harrow
