seen this this morning in a dealers
wtf a blind man could do a better job with no arms
iso plug tied to spool pipe open to elements

To be fair, I’ve sometimes preferred to do the tidying up of cables like that myself. I’d stand back and look at it on a few occasions and decide on what I think is the best way of routing them and positioning things like displays and control joysticks etc. Bearing in mind risk of chaffing, eventual trading of the tractor etc.
I’m a bit ocd about stuff like that.

When our sprayer arrived, I let the fitter do a quick bit of the main wiring but preferred to do the rest myself. Made a bracket for the joystick, bracket to hold spreader and sprayer monitor.

don’t worry i did bracket for box and joy stick . stick sits directly above knee . elbow on arm rest and it just falls to hand
same as loader lever in class took seat out and make a bracket off seat base so lever in similar place
ocd for such thing s

and will wire it up my self and make brackets for both iso plugs

Those looms are expensive, £1600 +
Perhaps it was a temporary fix incase it was needed else where.

On the flip side, if I was fitting it I wouldn't be very impressed with how dirty the cab floor was. Just saying.

Thats what you get if you only want pay peanuts & a guy at £15 an hour

At the dealers I worked at all the staff took the utmost pride in their work. When doing pdi s including swopping over cb radios, 2 way radios, sprayer boxes etc everyone went to great lengths to hide wires and make it all look right. If anyone didn't they would be teased by their colleagues for weeks.
