We are looking at spraying approx. 24/25 acres (about 10 Hectares). Can anyone give me some hourly rates and fees, in the local or surrounding areas? WD6 3BA.
Also, does this include the chemical or are we buying it? Please can someone also confirm if GRAZEON can be boomsprayed? We were told it was only suitable for knapsacks.

Grazon has clopyralid in it, lots of restrictions especially relating to cuts of hay, silage and manure.
You need to know exactly what you are doing with it before use

Thanks for this. We have someone who has their spraying licence; he spot sprays with Grazeon. The initial question though, can Grazeon actually be used in a boom sprayer? Or is it just for knapsacks? We are trying to figure out some questions to ask ahead of inquiring about the fields which need spraying? and trying to figure out the correct herbicide too.
We normally just use Grazeon within paddocks ourselves and then have previously hired a contractor, who supplied the chemical himself.

Is the field nice smooth and flat with no foreign objects?

I would be think you would be looking circa £200 + travelling +filling and washing time, you supply the chemical.

Grazon is knapsack only, it would be really expensive to use field scale with a boom sprayer.

Use Thistlex to blanket spray the field with a boom sprayer.
