How quickly is teb taken up? Applied to dry leaf, but steady drizzle soon afterwards which is still coming down.
Asking for a friend:whistle:
A friend is in very much the same boat here. Took a chance this afternoon and managed 80% of it. Tried to allow a couple of hours before rain but is light rain now. :nailbiting:.

Took a gamble as looks like the next opportunity wont be till next Tues owing to rain or wind

up here wheat is just starting to flower and im hoping that we gert a few days of sun to help grain sites set. Our intrepid crop walker has been across today in full wet suit gear nothing sinister to report other than dont want tonights forecast heavy rain. we will be going with teb reasonable rate as( not in a rush) we could still be2 months away from harvest plus foliar k

Why foliar K? I have some left on contract farm asked if there was any point in using it at T2 and was told no, does it have an advantage at ear wash? Yara Vita K TIA

I done a couple of fields Sunday evening with 125gs teb and 0.3 comet + epso top. The Wheat was early to mid flowering.

My intention is to carry on and do the rest asap. I will probably be out on timing for fusarium by the time I can get back on but we've now got sufficient moisture so I want to help the crop stay disease free and green for as long as possible so it can make use of this moisture.

Got half done Monday, rest will be late next week I think now as it wasn’t fully in ear. Looking at the moisture and the leaves left I don’t think I will need to rush to get the combine out much before the August bank holiday

t3 starting soon here soon before that having a few days off with the wife. boss saying you will be busy again when your back , but as the weather is being like back in winter no doudt this will delay things.not sure what we be using normaly tubucure but no doudt this will depend on weather and desease pressure.

sorry for the delay in answering but been trying to keep dry ,ive found this last few years foliar k helps to keep the crop clean, not claiming it has any fungicide effect more that it maintains plant health ,even though now it is god awful wet certainly helps in drier conditions the main thing ive found is a noticeable increase in bushel weight quite significant in fact but its only my own findings but we now do the whole lot twice and I wouldnt be spending if I wasnt fairly sure of a return

What are people going with having now had 90mm of rain, still straight Teb, or adding something extra. Crops were mostly clean to the floor when rec' sheets were handed out.

I'm doing some of my t3 at the moment and I've stuck with teb and strobe. I did consider adding proline to make a home brew prosaro like @Brisel had said and also swapping the straight strobe for amistar opti but I've got 3 clean leaves and with it being a low disease year I stuck with my original plan. Had there have been some septoria lurking in the bottom or if I was In the west then I'd have gone with the amistar opti.

Two late drilled fields after beet had a head and shoulders of 1lt aviator plus ctl yesterday. The only other fungicide they had was 0.75 epoxi, 0.3 Corbel and ctl as a late t1 which covered leaf 2 aswell.

we rightly or wrongly are thinking sticking to straight teb with a smidge of c plus foliar k ,not putting strob or any other chem that delays senescence/harvest suposedly keeps it green longer as the crops have good potential and can well remember the year that strobs etc delayed ripening but we ended up with laid wet crops slow to ripen and then to try and salvage

Is anyone else just doing nothing ?
It’s getting , no got, ridiculous how much we have to nurse these crops through to harvest. Ok, it’s rained hard for a few days, but not for weeks on end. If the weather looks warmer and more settled next week, I’ll be shutting the gate .

My thinking with the strobe is to keep it green a bit longer and make the most of this recent moisture. We're lightland so it will go off relatively quick even with a strobe added.

Had we not had significant rain I wouldn't have done anything else.

Rain at flowering means I feel it would be silly to do nothing. If we had had no rain the gate would have been shut, but we have and at a vulnerable timing, so £4/Ha or an estimated £0.45/t seems a sensible precaution.
