hi all

my 6495 is getting longer in the tooth at 8000 hrs and although shes been a good bus im thinking of either adding a cheaper more high houred tractor the same to the fleet (although needs to be 50k and have air) and doing the oddjobs on my current tractor and hoping between them that i can spread my risk and hours between them OR say sod it and trade the old gal in for something newer (3000- 4000) hour mark , id like to stick with massey but would be swayed to a claas, case or maybe a valtra , thoughts please

65-70k , id love to be buying with in warrenty but its difficult equally do you go less hurs and less spec got to have 50k and front linkage and be 200hp minimum , this tractors been good hence i wouldnt worry buying a second one and keeping mine so if one breaks but finding a tidy one is even harder

Jeez, are MFs finished at 8k hours?! Just had a JD 7530 here today turn 18k hours, in ten years and looking good.

tractors not worn out at these hours but i have no replacement if it goes wrong equally i really need 50k and would also like some comfort , equally its still got plenty of value to it as i run it to higher hours more it will cost to change , id keep it if i could

Id ban every tractor above 100hp that doesnt come standard with Front Linkage.
so many uses & auto guide ready knowing what i know now
Handy if you need it but I very rarely see front linkage being used other than to hold weight block and occasionally a stone picking box , that would seem like a very expensive option for those uses that would add £4K to the price of new tractor for those who dont need it.
