I wasn't suggesting he or anyone should, I simply said it's very kind of them to look out for the big man at this stage.
I don't recall the cons or lab being particularly concerned about protecting Eck or his wellbeing when he was in office.

The most serious offence of sexual assault with attempt to rape the jury returned a 'not proven' rather than not guilty and only after two jurors were removed from the count. One can only assume that 7 or 8 of the jury were convinced that all 9 women bringing the charges were lying.

I wonder how many criminals would get away with all the I cant remember etc etc answers compared to a prosecution witness who did remember? As has been said for someone who kept claiming she was keen to give her side it appears she has forgotten most of it.

Fairly sure he got no money in compensation. He had his costs covered, but that's not the same.
