The fake meat fad has finally been exposed as a complete waste of money

That's the bigger threat than veganism; the deliberate running down of the product by the cartel. Meat and dairy are a pita for a centralized food system; refrigeration, skilled handling and preparation, it's all cost that is avoided by replacing it with long shelf life protein gloop.
Not to mention all those tiny little suppliers.

Trouble is now everyone is looking for the next Tesla.
Any new idea that comes out that can market itself good at the investment stage, people piled in as scared to miss out.

It's now a race between if govs/wef can destock country before the fake meat firms collapse totally.
If govs can do it quick enough, then people who like meat might eat the fake shite if there is no real meat on the shelves

if it turned out they were able to produce their product cheaper than the real thing,
we could all be in big trouble
un fortunately
me included
food is purchased on price
The Ultra Processed aspect of this shouldn’t be underestimated. At long last there is now a focus on the detrimental effect of certain ubiquitous food additives and ingredients. In time these UPFs will be derided as poisonous which is as it should be. May take years or decades but the tide is defo turning at long last. Ripples are being seen, even the media are just about waking up.

And new restaurants/drive throughs are popping up everywhere.
We are having a new McDonald’s built near us and there is a Burger King already on the other side of the road.
Partners daughter was just on hols in Florida, and she said that she could not believe how many fast food outlets there were over there. I guess we can expect that coming our way too at some point.

It’s sad just how many people now just accept fast food as "food". No wonder the younger generation is forecast to live shorter lives than their parents. A lot of parents won’t outlive their parents.
