Thanks how right you are,should of realised that my selfIs it necessary with the header being on the ground, most headers nowadays will have skid plates of some sort for the float !.

It always seems to me that Claas Combines look less dirty than NH’s at the end of Harvest!

that’s why their usually held on by D shackles between the front axle strapping down point and the rear axle With slack touching the ground at all times.Just remember not to stick it in reverse!
