Looking at getting a claas 44 round baler shifted. Does anyone move these on ifor Williams trailers or do they have to go on a lorry. It's 2.3 wide and 4 m long 1800kg approx

Yes it’ll go on easy.
tyres will be right on the edge though so I used to put some blocks under the axles to take the weight

Need to get it from Oban to ullapool. Legally if at possible😀 safer on a trailer. What model trailer is that. The specs for the baler is 2.3 wide but Should be fine for weight. The baler is sitting high does it feel safe towing

That’s a 14ft x 7ft trailer. I have it made that wide for that very reason, so that balers and straw blowers fit on with a full wheel on the trailer.

If you’re nervous about the baler then whip the wheels off and sit the axles on timbers.
It will travel nicely then

Hardest part will be getting the weight right, not all sat on the drawbar. Do as per Will's Mrs above, sit it back a bit👍 (or is it 🤞) 😆
