Tyre noise

What tyre and what pressure?

I've changed Michelin multibibs to Bridgestone VX. The tyre noise from the Michelin's was awful and the tread lugs set off a nasty sounding droning noise inside the cab when they got near to 50kph

The Bridgestone have none of the noise, are smoother over rough surfaces, but are bloody bouncy on the road when they're blown hard for loader work

Every tyre of every make of every pattern will have a unique speed that will cause vibration and / or noise . 1 km higher or lower will get rid of it .
Its an unavoidable consequence of tyre treads designed for traction being used at today’s higher speeds on roads.
10km on hard standing will behave very different than the same 10kmh on soil or grass.
Hear tractors passing the end of our road daily with the “Drum, drum, drum, drum” noise , all makes of tractor and tyres it’s just one of those things can hear them coming long before you see them .
