I have a analogue longacre motorsport gauge designed for go-carting.

super accurate and scale 0-60 psi

battery ones are inaccurate junk in my experience

Advantages of the PCL type are:
No batteries needed
The end of the gauge has an adjustable screw so you can get a good seal on the valve, often the cheaper ones let out air as you are trying to check the pressure, or don't push the pin down enough so they read low.
The pointy end can be used to reduce tyre pressure if you overinflate (the gauge on my little compressor never seems to read above 40psi).

PCL Qube.

You might want to be sat down...

Thanks for the reminder, I have looked at these a couple of years ago and they where nearer the 1 k mark, which I found a little rich. Can they also deflate? The documentation on them is vague about that.
Put 4 hoses on it, clip on and walk away. Lovely.

The website says inflate/deflate.

I have two lengths of air hose I need to connect. One has a female 1/4 inch BSP push in connector end and the other has a slightly larger end 13mm inside diameter, again a push in female end, which is just too shallow for a 1/4 BSP male end. A male/male connector would be ideal, but I don't know what size or type the larger end is, it came off a Chinese compressor. Any ideas what I should ask for ?

have a look on ebay at the different fittings , one is simply 1/4 bsp and the other is called euro fitting

Could it be a euro connector? Shorter and fatte
Interesting, the end I'm assuming is 1/4 bsp is because it fits connectors bought off Amazon as 1/4bsp, however checking my order they were described as 1/4 euro bsp, so now I have two unknowns. :scratchhead::scratchhead:
Put a photo up, be much simpler.

Never been asked that question on a public forum, but here's some pictures. The adapter fits the smaller diameter female one but will not lock into the 13mm one.
you will have to decide which fittings you are going to go with , i ve got 1/4 bsp but any air tool i pick up always seems to be 1/4 euro fittings and i have to change the fittings over , so starting again i would probably go for the euro fitting as they seem to have a larger air flow . look on ebay or amazon and you can get a pack of fittings for not much money , make sure you get a couple of hose tails incase that fittings on the air line has to be changed

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
