Old shape ford rangers love to die from rust aswellThe biggest advantage to the Navara is you buy one and you end up with two. The only pickup that can achieve that.

What other breeds of double cabs are still running at 16 years old???That's the only reason I'm changing 04 ranger
Yes we have one and I would agree, been very reliable but vey revvy and only does about 22 with farm work, but would have another.A few have said the isuzu auto is slow to change and not very smooth?
I have a 04 hilux with almost 170k. Its getting nakered now though put it on a permit!. Its last 4k miles have been its hardest. I havent been kind to it.What other breeds of double cabs are still running at 16 years old???
I see nobody has mentioned a vw amarok I guess maybe because of the price
My thoughts too, also what are parts prices etc like for someone on a less generous budget?Surely nobody that wanted to drive an Amarok would be seen dead in an old/sub £10k one?
like.I bought a 2011 mk4 ford ranger for £10k
Only a genuine 18k on the clock.
Could have gone for a mk5 2.2, but not so keen on the oil pump issue.
At least the 2.5 tdci is fairly bomb proof, no dpf or add blue, and the 5th gear issue is supposedly fixed on the mk 4.
Mpg wise I get up to 35 on a run, mum has been using it for the last couple of months, short journeys (under 5 miles) and it returned 30mpg my old mk3 with the 12ft ifor would be 23 ish mpg.
Come summer it will get it clean underneath and will be bathed in waxoyl. ?
