Places that are completing with out markets, don't have rules and regs, give a monkey's about effects of climate change their carbon footprints etc etc most likely.

it can’t be can it !.
I haven’t even anything that new, ones an 87 the other 2 are 91 and 99 even the loadall‘s getting on now being an 02 but still only on 2550hrs.

Blimey, I have a 2001 loadall passed 11000hrs, an 05 nearly at 12,000 and a 12 reg knocking on the door of 7000hrs!

I often wonder the same thing.plenty 2010 onwards but but not so many before.

Clearly you operate in an affluent area.

Where does these old tractor go, 2000, 2009, reg tractors, there still seams to be good money in them but who buys them, do they go abroad?

Strewth, they're still young machines at that! I bought a 2005 MF7490 earlier this year for extra capacity/backup/hire tractor replacement

Yes, who buys them, l don't know any one who would buy a 12 year old tractor.

I have 94, 01, 2x05, 10, 12, 13 & 2x15 reg tractors and forklifts in the fleet, all do a job, occasionally all together.

Most recent purchase was the 05 tractor, bought with 10,000hrs as a backup tractor. It's only done 300hrs since March, but they've been important hours.

I know a man that runs older Fendts, never bought one under 7000hrs, most over 10yo.

To me it depends on enterprises and workload. Root and cow farms need higher numbers of tractors than combinable arable or sheep farms for example. For me, if they have a workload of 1000hrs+, I want them new or at least under 3000hrs when they arrive, not too fussed on age, but frontliners want to be fairly young, or we finish up with everything knackered at the same time. If they only do 2-300hrs a year, condition is more important than age or hours. Occasionally these lower rung tractors start here new and stay a long time, sometimes they're bought in their twilight years.
