What to buy to help with my small flock

The trouble is I work full time so a dog is not possible. My family have always had dogs and they are expensive and also very time consuming. I have full access to a Korthal Griffon but its nutts!!!
My pen is between two fields at the moment. I do intend to improve the entrance/feed to it. I imagine with time I can get them all in on my own. I just need to decide on an easier way of managing them once in. Footbaths/injections/click etc etc. It sounds like there are lots of methods and an expensive setup is not necessarily the way to go. I think I will get a load more hurdles, some funnel netting and a pastic footbath...
