We have nh 575. Good enough baler but id recommend a mf cause its inline with tractor so means no bales to shift out of way and made on hesstons design so will be good machine. For mower what size of tractor you usin? Probably a drum mower would suit you either a kuhn or sip

you need to look at it the other way is there any machinery dealers close to you in africa that you can get parts from ? if so buy what they can supply parts and service for. other wise talk to woodfield baler parts they will advise what they can supply parts for also they have balers for sale
We mf550 tractor I think it's is 65hp we also have mf240 45hp we also planing to buy Belarus 862 tractor but we don't have that amount of money we need some old machine baler manual and no broking just keep going and if it's broke we can easily fix we are very far away in the City?

If its Kenya get a Claas as they have a good dealer backup. However Sorghum/Sudan grass doesn't bale well with a conventional balers as it's far too long. I have used a Quadrant which is O.K but when we were in Sudan it was usually cut and carted away on old Bedfords.

As Oil Barron mentioned if your budget will stand it the Freeman is the gold standard in conventional balers.
Sorghum although a tough crop will be no problem.

Loads of Freeman balers 20-30 years old still going great guns.
Thanks that's good point

I was thinking claas but I don't know how strong it's
