Does anybody have any information on like when it needs to be planted. What Crops. Rough analysis on it. Rough cost. Rough yields in spring and winter crops. And don’t want to be told about rats over and over again.

A mix gives good results. Always spring sown here.
Peas and barley works well on this land. Its about getting the two crops to ripen at the same time. Availability of seed may force your hand. Was followed by a crop for out wintering or a cover crop to go onto spring undersown reseed.
Paper analysis on mixed crops is poor because of the use if NIR do you anayalise as barley or peas? Better if a single crop on that point. Sow at 80 kg an acre?
No desperate hurry as conditions get better. Early spring plantings can suffer with weeds as the crops doesn't get away as fast in cold ground.

Yeilds, well how long is a piece of string, had the odd disaster but the had some massive crops that we couldn't get half of it in the clamp!

(I cut the seed rate barley&oats to 50kg acre)
