Yes I've been and done the same, any dog with spirit was used, serious job nipping in with the knife to finish.Done a bit of pig hunting in NZ with dogs, seemed to use blue healers a lot and whatever dog they found in the pound [emoji85]
One of our local primary schools has a pig hunt for a fund raiser.Done a bit of pig hunting in NZ with dogs, seemed to use blue healers a lot and whatever dog they found in the pound
My family have had danes for generations, they were originally boar hounds, and closer in size and shape to mastiffs, then fashion took over...Also this thing re dogs from pounds etc. There are plenty of lads out there putting a serious amount of time and effort into breeding and producing one up pig dogs. They do however use breeds you wouldn’t believe like Great Dane etc which long went out of any working use here
Didn't realise it was a problem in Hampshire!Somewhere “down south” to hunt wild pigs.

My kinda dogs those mate. I’m sure you’ll get some flack, but that kind of hunting sorts the men from the boys
Even girls can do it.
Are you still alowed to use ferrets to flush rabbits?
