We’re growing veg for the first time this year, and my biggest concern is not having enough labour to harvest in the autumn. They don’t HAVE to fly anyone in.
Just went up from Exeter again a few seconds ago.I thinks to do with testing and the free airspace we have
It amazed me the noise vs how quiet it's been for the last few weeksJust went up from Exeter again a few seconds ago.

Surely that's to do with repeat migrant work forceLady on the telly this morning with a fruit farm saying that if they employ the british ,they would have to train them how to pick to fruits and how to handle them to preserve the quality ,,she was hoping her EU staff would come as they no exactly what to do and can do it at speed
Wasn't aware that they were ever closed?Eastern Europeans to be flown in to pick fruit and veg
A charter plane bringing Romanians to harvest British crops will arrive in the UK on Thursday.www.bbc.co.uk

Doing our best, but who knows what the world will be like in September.Time to start making friends with people who are bored shitless doing online workouts every day then!
Yes it was ,,a few of her main workers stayed here ,polish ,romanians to keep the place ticking over ,planting up ,watering ,pruningSurely that's to do with repeat migrant work force

I got buzzed with a chenock.big time this afternoon as flew over at sub 100 foot. Been alot of military planes this weekThey’ve been over me at least 3 times tonight.
Surely there still there then or had they also go home. It's like asking me to do a task I can do e.g picking strawberries for myself then being told to pick commercially same thing but completely differentYes it was ,,a few of her main workers stayed here ,polish ,romanians to keep the place ticking over ,planting up ,watering ,pruning

Obviously, you have never employed British people to do manual labour. If they need training, train them - it’s not rocket science.
Think the ones still on the farm were permanent staff ,,the main workforce went home ages back but normally return each year except now ,they cant ,,Surely there still there then or had they also go home. It's like asking me to do a task I can do e.g picking strawberries for myself then being told to pick commercially same thing but completely different
Most places I have been in Europe offer cheap servicesObviously, you have never employed British people to do manual labour.
putting ten plants in a bunch is not rocket science
being told by young lady to f*** myself when I repeatedly point out she has put 8 or less in a bunch. Thats not rocket science.
being offered sexual services is not rocket science.
employing eastern European polite attentive, willing , keen, turning up early, not stopping till after the clock has turned, that’s rocket science
