f**kwitIf it wasn't for the 700,00 muslims ( mainly from modern day Pakistan and Bangladesh) who came to our aid in the war from 1914, there would be no England. 89,000 gave the ultimate sacrifice and died for Britain. 20% of empire recruits were muslims. 280,000 Muslim Algerians, Tunisians and Morrocans fought for us.
Considering many Muslim soldiers were awarded the highest and most prestigious military award (Victoria Cross), I think a statute to honour their services and sacrifices would be befitting.
They fought for World freedom. Not just freedom fo England.
