@farmer phil is the grain through the ground yet or is it just perceived seed depth issues, give it a few days to emerge then comment.
Seed should be either side of the point not in the slot, is the wind speed ok, not on reduced osr setting.
yeah, fair point. To be fair what has come through doesnt look too bad, but when we look immediately behind the drill its bloody awful. Definitely enough air, clock says 3500.

Sounds like somethings not quite right, my CO drilled fairly evenly. It always looked "untidy" compared with my neighbour's Vaderstad crops. Are the triangular bottom plates in good shape and also the yellow plastic wear strips? The bottom plate creates the plateau the seed in sown onto.
the strips are ok. I thought the plates were but I'm now thinking maybe theyre not.

Did you get the drill set up sorted? @farmer phil
Yes thanks. After umpteen discussions with folk including a nearby farmer, we’ve put a set of 3” Dutch openers on it. It’s transformed the drill. Bit of a hiccup with beans the other day but we’ve got some bean tubes for it now too. I guess you learn about these things.
Thanks to everyone for your input.

I swapped to 5” Dutch on a 4m a year ago due to duet smearing in the wet. This years crops have established better and more evenl, but conditions were so much better. Glad to hear you are now sorted.
