Most of the oil is in the bike now, i suppose i did it myself so saved a bit there. The problem is, when your in the stores getting these bits and pieces, you don,t like asking what,s the price for this to many times, makes you sound like a right tight ass. But i fu'cking hate being over charged.

Get a can of cheaper stuff now then, ready and waiting... Grab a filter online at the same time. :)

Prices have really shot up of late.
There is a massive shortage of base oil and additives effecting Hydraulic oil, & Chain oil etc anything over ISO 100

Some have gone up by £1000 a ton - over £1.00 a litre.
Crazy prices.....that said currently we are still only £45 for 25L of UTTO (discount on multiples), but can't see it holding.

Trouble is we use so many grades of oil nowadays it becomes expensive to buy barrels . maybe 15w 40 , but not much else

I'm sure i read something somewhere which said that base oils are produced when refining aviation fuel (not exactly but almost a by product) which obviously they aren't producing much of at the mo hence lube oil price goes up.

Got 200l of UTTO last week £315.
And 200l 15w40 E9, £345.
Free delivery.

There will still be sellers with older stock at cheaper prices, new stock is going up all the time. Its defiantly not a time to buy more stock than you need unless its older stock at old prices, Yes it will keep but in 6 to 12 months time when the world starts flying again then prices will come back down.

They all say Its gone up because the by products of aviation fuel is what they make the additive packages out of.

What I don’t understand is I can buy Morris oils cheaper from TFM than from Morris oils themselves? How the feck does that work?

all my tractors run hytran which is nearly 80 a barrel of 25L. Does Midlands lube sell these big drums for this?

Ignore morris web prices they are full retail. Only a mug pays them!

With morris you have to ring the sales rep and get a price set up on your account for each product, your price will depend on what you spend with them and quantity of product ordered.
