There UTD which would be a standard UTTO and then super UDT, Morris JDF would be the ame a the super UDT i expect but i never looked closely at the spec IMO. This particular Customer wants genuine oil so that what he gets

Prices have really shot up of late.
There is a massive shortage of base oil and additives effecting Hydraulic oil, & Chain oil etc anything over ISO 100
Some have gone up by £1000 a ton - over £1.00 a litre.
Crazy prices.....that said currently we are still only £45 for 25L of UTTO (discount on multiples), but can't see it holding.

Trouble is we use so many grades of oil nowadays it becomes expensive to buy barrels . maybe 15w 40 , but not much else
Their price has gone up probablyI'd better get back to Battlefield then...

That's a very good price at the moment. Bet it wasn't genuine John Deere oil.

I'm sure i read something somewhere which said that base oils are produced when refining aviation fuel (not exactly but almost a by product) which obviously they aren't producing much of at the mo hence lube oil price goes up.

There will still be sellers with older stock at cheaper prices, new stock is going up all the time. Its defiantly not a time to buy more stock than you need unless its older stock at old prices, Yes it will keep but in 6 to 12 months time when the world starts flying again then prices will come back down.
They all say Its gone up because the by products of aviation fuel is what they make the additive packages out of.

What I don’t understand is I can buy Morris oils cheaper from TFM than from Morris oils themselves? How the feck does that work?

Ignore morris web prices they are full retail. Only a mug pays them!
With morris you have to ring the sales rep and get a price set up on your account for each product, your price will depend on what you spend with them and quantity of product ordered.
