But they have had time to prepare. This is more than just teething problems, I think.
Even the Times were hinting that the BBC were behind the problems.
I do love a good conspiracy theory
what were you expecting, presumably using the word gammon channel 4 news with more presenters
I read a comment somewhere, that it's not that the BBC is trying to be overtly biased, but there would be newspapers lying around, and it would always be the Guardian, you would never find a Telegraph anywhere at all, so the whole culture was that they just could not understand why anyone would think anything differently to them. Its definitely slicker and the sound has improved. Not one for rolling news but I'll probably watch it a bit from time to time.
I don't think there's anything wrong with allowing presenters to air their opinions, as long as you have a range of opinions which is where the BBC et al have failed miserably.

No, that is untrue and the usual spin. The BBC are massive buyers of the Guardian.Ah, you read that in the Telegraph….
Wasnt there a report that showed how many copies they boughtNo, that is untrue and the usual spin. The BBC are massive buyers of the Guardian.

There was. I expect it's been deleted.Wasnt there a report that showed how many copies they bought
They review the papers every night on both the BBC and Sky, and its fairly well balanced i think. There was. I expect it's been deleted.
that is not the issue, it is what is read/provided in the communal areas we are discussing. They review the papers every night on both the BBC and Sky, and its fairly well balanced i think.
How many ordinary bods get access to television studios to check?that is not the issue, it is what is read/provided in the communal areas we are discussing.
I might be wrong, but my impression was that GB News watchers drink real ale rather than Koppaburg and Grolsch, buy ready assembled furniture have hands as rough as a badgers backside but think moisturising is for jessies and firmly believe in education from the University of Life. Really can't see what any of the above would gain from advertising with them.just read an article in the Telegraph, Kopperburg, Ikea, Nivea, Open University & Grolsch have all withdrawn their advertising from the channel, so I will be boycotting them all (which to be fair means nothing, as I never use any of them!!)
I can recall the mentioned article stating not only how many copies of the Guardian were purchased by the BBC, but also other public bodies. Its a huge part of their income. A few years back when employers depended on newspaper job adverts, virtually all public sector vacancies could only be found in the Guardian Society supplement.that is not the issue, it is what is read/provided in the communal areas we are discussing.

Largely yes but I am a customer of Octopus Energy which I will now cancel as soon as I can.I might be wrong, but my impression was that GB News watchers drink real ale rather than Koppaburg and Grolsch, buy ready assembled furniture have hands as rough as a badgers backside but think moisturising is for jessies and firmly believe in education from the University of Life. The statements they have put out are masterpieces of corporate Bull****, such as Koppaburg is for everyone, no it isn't its for ill educated teenagers who don't know any better
