Anyone having problems with the new Toyota hilux active?

What sort of issues?
dpf blocked messages coming up saying check engine and visit dealer it’s only done 450 miles! I ring them and said they are having problems. They had one in with 3000 with the same problem. The pickup did a regen only on Thursday!

I got an Isuzu after my last Hilux so I'm fine... 
but a cousin and a friend have newish ones and both have been into the dealer several times with them now, mixed issues but seem centred around cpus.
On the plus side, I will say that FRF (our local Toyota dealer) does offer very good service indeed.

Seen a 2013 one with the chassis rotted through so much that the drawbar pulled out of it

Probably made from recycled Tacoma/Tundra chassis in the US!!!
I believe in the North America they replaced the chassis at no cost.
That said we get 10 year warranty on Mitsubishi's here.

Local dealer stopped selling Isuzu becauseI got an Isuzu after my last Hilux so I'm fine...
On the plus side, I will say that FRF (our local Toyota dealer) does offer very good service indeed.

My 2.8 invincible seems to regen every 50 to 100miles but nothing error wise. I am towing a trailer fully loaded most of the time but does seem to drink the ad-blue

Have a 2.4 hilux 19 plate and a 2.8 hilux 21plate .
No issues on either but if there was then the 5year
warranty would sort them out f.o.c. so no real drama.

Yeah fair enough apparently the 22 plates and onwards will come with 3 year warranty instead of 5

Correct but I was told you could extend that warranty f.o.c for several years
if you have your truck main dealer serviced annually.

Keep it dealer serviced for those 5 years and Toyota will extend your warranty to 10 years! Can’t grumble at that
