Great bit of kit, got a 538-60 almost a year and will be knocking on 2000hrs for its birthday at Xmas. Gearbox is brilliant and as said fly’s along. Only issues have been the electrical conduit that goes up the boom to the solenoid which seems to be a well known problem which dealer knew about as soon as we spoke to them, doors has been changed under warranty as they are bad for cracking at the hinge. Screens gone blank a couple times but switch the isolator off and seems to cure itself. Most importantly the backup has been top notch so far.

Heard rumors of that screen failing totally & not cheap too replace, your left high n dry after 12months unless you buy ext warranty

We spend a lot of time in 2wd around the yards. Saves tyre wear and kinder to the concrete. With load on the front rear wheel drive isn’t going to go anywhere.
leave it in 4wd in the yard then, be far better off on the road that when wheels are turning much faster id have thought.
nearly 17yrs with same merlo here & ive lived with perm 4wd without much issue. Just cant get away with current models so looking at the rest.

about the same on XMCL's there a fair chunk of money just for a telehandler
Mind you the MF branded one is dearer but it does come with 5yr warranty & 4yr 0%
They need to add incentives to relieve themselves of the product.
I have a 560/80 coming in Feb and that was a 100k with leather seat.
You will never regret buying a JCB, I have a straw customer with a 4000hr Kramer you would want nothing to do with, he also had a pair of smaller artic steer Kramer’s he chucked back at them with sooooooo much trouble.

What gearbox have you gone for in your 560?
