There arent too many options now,Welger,JD or NH in that price range.Welger will be hardest to find and probably the best,but nowt wrong with either of the others.
Going to be above the budget though.

Driving over the rows pulling them into lumps, not being able to see into the pick up as well and blockages being harder to clear.
Iv never driven 1 eithrr but id of thought output would be better as not shifting material across, i also thought that would of left her not as likely to block aswel but im not sure

Go up a gear, fill it so it doesn't quite pop a sheer bolt but isn't far off
Though some are better than others... for example NH do love to throw a banana. Also you can buy something that looks tidy and have it turn out to be a right dog. Its a lottery with small balers.tidy example more important than specific make
We tend to drive it on the easy side as when it breaks a shear its a right pain. What is tge optimim revs to be running at if that makes any difference
540rpm+. Being easy on it is why it is making bananas. Fill the chamber.

used to have a 575 and found adjusting the packer arm sorted the problem,
you need to set the baler properly then drive it on!!
