It isWith that gauge reading it should be boiling over , take the rad cap off while it's going .... adequate precautions necessary

It’s had a new thermostat and cylinder head gasket…..I’ll get the injectors overhauledMake sure your running with a thermostat.
Check fan blades and fan speed buy a device to measure speed if you have too. And check airflow. Using hot air off engine to cool a rad is a stupid set up but some machines do that and probably was an option on jcb as there so crap anyway blowing air out on the ground kicking up dust everywhere they go. Been alot of variations to the jcbs Regards radiator air flow over the yesrs.
Double check with seperate gauge exact temp.
Then you need to check fueling as there's nothing else left at this point given what you done already.
Get injector pump overhauled, retime engine properly from scratch. And replace injectors.
Oh if older 1004 series perkins replace cold start plug as can dribble fuel in all the time. If its 1100 series engine then will have glow plugs so not going to be a problem.
Replacing engine with a short motor isn't going to fix the overheating problem as all your replacing is block, pistons crank shaft etc. Although it would get a new headgasket and retimed along the way.
What do you mean by the road houses?Have you replace all the road houses. when you did the head gasket did you torque the bolts down right, from memory it 80 footponds + 1/2 or 3/4 of a turn for a Perkins
What do you mean by the road houses?
Yes all torqued down properly with a torque angle guage
YesOn the subject of radiator hoses they can collapse inside the. cause a restriction
On this machine The fan is mounted in front of the rad and the engine which way should the fan be blowing ? Onto the rad or drawing it?Rad hoses
Front mounted fan should be drawing air through, warm air off the engine thoughOn this machine The fan is mounted in front of the rad and the engine which way should the fan be blowing ? Onto the rad or drawing it?
I see on newer ones the fan is in between the engine and rad….
Ridiculous set upFront mounted fan should be drawing air through, warm air off the engine though
Probably why it was changed.Ridiculous set up
We always did that, but now they say it;s de rigeur ...I don’t want to tempt fate….but….i completely removed the thermostat from the machine and it’s now running as normal
yes it was a new thermostat and yes it was working
I knowWe always did that, but now they say it;s de rigeur ...
If it's cool who caresI know
