Boris has pre-empted that by sticking 2 fingers up to @Pasty , @essex man , @gone up the hill , et al. All to give extra time for them to get vaccinated. (y)
It is increasingly being pointed out that if lockdown had ended they would lose the licence to use an experimental vaccine. 'Emergency measures' would no longer apply. If the aim is to vaccinate more of the population then we must be under lockdown.

Only bed wetters/fools listen to Boris now...

I will NOT have the vaccine come hell or high water for the simple fact that if the vaccine worked/ is effective then there is No need for the lockdown rules to be extended after the 21st of June 2020.....

What if the simple fact was; that not enough people had benefited from the vaccine by June 21st?

They keep moving the goal posts as you well know!

Come Mid July they will say : untill Kids over the age of 12 have been vaccinated we cannot lift the lockdown, then when they have achieved that it will be : we need to vaccinate all kids over 8 years old before we lift lockdown, then it will be ; we cannot lift lockdown as the NHS is under winter pressure from the flu/ c-19 and so it will go on.

If your scared/ a bed wetter then stay at home 24/7 so everyone else can get on with life.

You only get one life and it is far too short regardless of c-19, how many years should everyone give up to protect the scared few like Neilo for example?

The measures will stay because they are popular.
Justifications do not need to be credible because people want and are incentivised to believe in them.

I think you are wrong about the current measures being popular!

UK Gov polls show that the majority of UK people support measures but said polls at run by a company owned by a UK Gov minister....need i say more!!

But in the real world both online and in real life it is about 70/30 against the current lockdown/ rules and them being extended!

And as for the Gov polls, well they are soo accurate that just before the brexit vote they claimed that about 70% of people wanted to stay in the EU... Even thou in real life/ on online comment sections it was clear as night follows day that the UK population was split 50/50 on which way to vote and that is was clear in the few days before the brexit vote it could go either way thou would be very close regardless of a yes/no win even thou the GOV polls were showing the overall yes vote was miles ahead of the no vote..

Gov polls are NOT worth the paper they are written on!

Do you mean Yougov polls? Don’t think the U.K. government do many polls themselves, and certainly didn’t publish any in the run up to Brexit.

You don't think WFH is popular?
More money in your pocket and a substantial increase in your effective hourly rate?
It's so popular they are trying to at least pretend it's forever now.
You don't think handing out cash to the self employed whilst they continue to work is popular.
