Transport Boxes

Looking at getting a new transport box. I think that hydraulic tipping will be the most useful as I want it to load sub base stone for filling potholes as well as using it for small fencing jobs and picking up fallen timber. Fleming seem to be the best but is there anything better? It's only going on a 50hp JD 1140, so I was thinking of 6foot wide.
Thanks for your thoughts in advance.

Got one for sale here. Not hydraulic tip, but either hydraulic top link or modify .

I had a Fleming on a 2140 JD think it was 6 or 6”6. Carried tonnes of soil into my garden. Tidied up lots of my old farmyard. Was fantastic. Only sold it because I bought a loader for my bigger tractor. For the price they are fantastic

Think a box that can convert into a cage is far more useful.

Local dealer had this made in their yard, will go on linkage or the loader so loads of uses for us

Are you actually wanting to back up to a heap of stone and fill it that way rather than having to load the stone some other way? If so the cage type isn`t for you, although as you say you could make something to fit it to carry a sheep or two...
If you are wanting it to self-load I would think a 6` one could get quite heavy!!

Got a Fleming 7’ here - serious bit of kit, built like an absolute tank - check out the videos on YouTube. You can use it like a shovel and grade with it - it’s the best £700 we’ve spent

I’d like a box to move calves and double up as a platform for gutter cleaning, to fit on the front of the telehandler.
Does anyone know if it’s available from somewhere?

Has the OP gone to sleep???? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
( gonna make it my New Year resolution not to waste my time trying to help folk on here `cos it always seems a waste of time - do they ever really read what you put???)
A 50 hp 2wd tractor would probably struggle to self load a 6` wide `bucket` I would think....

Not sleeping, just busy. Self loading from the heap, I hope. I was wondering if 6ft would be too much so thanks for your reply.
